Ecybermission Competition

 

Lanikai Science Squad traveled to
Washington, D.C., to compete with four
other Regional winners at the 2017
Ecybermission National Judging and
Educational Event sponsored by AEOP
(Army Educational Outreach Program). We
won 1st place for the 7th grade division and
our team was awarded a grant to further
our project on organic agriculture by
getting the community involved.
Winning ECM Nationals 2017
To achieve the goals of this grant we are
distributing Organic Garden Starter Kits
that include 4 packets of organic seeds,
peat pots, peat pellets, plant markers, and
a spray bottle. We hope the kit and our
website will introduce you to the benefits
of organic gardening. We believe that by
being more conscientious about the food
we eat and how it is grown, we can live
healthier lives.
